Mpatamanga Hydro Power Limited (MHPL) is a company established in 2022 to develop, finance, construct, own and operate the Mpatamanga Hydropower Storage Project.

MHPL is headquartered in Blantyre, Malawi. 

MHPL is currently owned by EDF and SN Malawi BV (owned by TotalEnergies, British International Investment (BII) and Norfund), each owning 50%.

The planned ownership structure for MHPL at Financial Close is as follows: Government of Malawi through EGENCO (30%), EDF (27.5%), SN Malawi BV (27.5%), and International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group (15%).
